The printing process in a nutshell
Depending on the number of colours, we make one or more plates of the design. The tapes are printed in one, two or three PMS colours. One plate is needed for every colour. Each plate is placed on a cylinder with the utmost precision, as even the smallest deviation can already lead to a disturbed printing image.
Then the plates are put in register on one of the machines in our production hall. The machine is filled with the correct colours of ink and the correct tape is attached. The printing of the tape is partly carried out by a unique robotic system, however an operator monitors the entire process from A to Z: tape type, colours, plates and printing result.
When the tapes are ready, the rolls are packed in boxes and loaded onto a pallet, ready for shipment.
Strict control
All manufacturing processes are internally monitored by our team, up to and including the shipment of printed tape. But our tape is also tested by our in-house test laboratory according to the applicable standards. This means that we can offer a solid service: when testing products in practice, when solving problems and when making recommendations for the most suitable tape solution.
Ten times around the world
PVC tape, PP Hotmelt tape and Paper tape are the three main tape qualities that Laro Tape prints. This ensures our competitive price, good quality and a short delivery time! We produce and supply no less than 400,000 kilometres of printed tape every year. That's ten times around the world!
